• PHASE ONE - Open House

• PHASE TWO - Physical Fitness and Written Tests

• PHASE THREE -Personal Information Packet Submitted

• PHASE FOUR - Background Investigation

• PHASE FIVE - Oral (in person) Interview

• PHASE SIX - Selection of Finalists and Conditional Offers

• PHASE SEVEN - Polygraph, Medical, Drug Screen, and Psychological Exams

• PHASE EIGHT- Job offer/Approved for starting with Durham Police Academy
